The First Nations Resource Centre Hazelton (FNRC – H) is a service to Upper Skeena teachers and support staff who would like to incorporate and/or extend Aboriginal resources and curriculum into their classrooms.
We are a new Centre and are in the process of collecting an extensive library of resources by and about Aboriginal people – local, regional, provincial, Canadian, world wide.
The First Nations Resource Centre Hazelton is housed at Hazelton Secondary School and located in room 121 (the next room past the Library)
We are also initiating the new First Nations Role Model Program and are in the process of locating role models who are able to go out into the classroom to help enrich First Nations curriculum.
Please contact us if you are interested in coming to the Centre, being a role model, or if you have questions. We would love to hear from you.
